Who We Are

The Story Behind Flying Iguana
The name Flying Iguana Coaching was born in the Cayman Islands, where founder Claire grew up surrounded by iguanas in the bush.
After a severe hurricane flooded the island, she noticed something remarkable while out on the water: the iguanas were swimming effortlessly through the deep, navigating their newly transformed world. That moment sparked a powerful realisation—when forced to evolve, we are capable of extraordinary breakthroughs. If a creature bounded by the earth can master the water, what incredible heights could you reach?
We believe that with the right mindset, relentless curiosity, and empowering coaching, you can redefine your limits and learn to fly.
Leading Change with Confidence and Curiosity
Founded by Rosie and Claire, we combine executive coaching expertise with real-world leadership experience to help individuals and teams navigate change, build confidence and make meaningful progress.
Like the Flying Iguana itself, we believe adaptability is key. The ability to evolve, stay curious and respond to change helps people, teams and organisations remain connected, resilient and high performing.
Our approach balances challenge, care and curiosity, creating the space for honest conversations, fresh thinking and lasting change.
Our Impact Beyond Coaching
Supporting Women on the Up
We’re proud to sponsor 13-year-old hockey player Daisy Ayley, who has already been selected for the England National U13 team.
This support goes beyond sponsorship. It’s about helping remove practical barriers like training, travel and development costs at a crucial stage in her journey.
In a sport where female pathways still face challenges, we want to play a small part in ensuring talent, not circumstance, shapes what’s possible.

Supporting Individuals
Each year, we provide 50 hours of free coaching to individuals who would not otherwise have access to it.
These sessions often become a space to pause, think clearly and move forward, whether someone is navigating change, rebuilding confidence or exploring a new direction. Access shouldn’t be a barrier to support.
Supporting Teams
We also work with organisations making a wider social impact through pro-bono and subsidised coaching.
This includes partnerships with charities in serveral sectors including; social justice, inclusion, discriminimation, sports and media.
Our role is to support the people behind these organisations, helping them stay clear, connected and resilient as they continue their work.

Supporting the Community
Beyond formal coaching, we stay connected to wider conversations and shared learning.
Claire contributes weekly to BBC Radio Kent’s Sort Your Life Out Friday, offering practical coaching-led insight on everyday challenges.
We’ve also created a Coach Exchange Network, a monthly space where coaches come together to share experiences, reflect on challenges and learn from one another.
